Discover Bratislava!

The capital of Slovakia is just a stone's throw away from the former centers of the imperial and royal monarchy. It takes about an hour by car to get to Vienna and about two hours to drive from Bratislava to Budapest.
Like its famous sister cities, Bratislava is located on the beautiful blue Danube and has a wonderful old town. Numerous wine cellars, bars and restaurants attract visitors to this lively city on the border triangle. Hungarian spiciness meets rich German-Austrian cuisine, rounded off with classic Slovakian dishes. Excellent wine is grown in the surrounding area and Bratislava is also a top address for night owls with its many bars and restaurants.

Excellent golf courses in Bratislava

The most important and largest golf course in Slovakia is the Black & White Resort Golf Bratislava. With an impressive 55 greens, it also connects the well-known White Eurovalley and Black River golf courses. Both locations are just a 20-minute drive from the metropolis of Bratislava.
The Black River golf course is probably the most challenging golf course. The sporty course with four different levels of difficulty has been laid out in a predominantly hilly landscape with many water hazards. Opened in 2006, the complex 18-hole course is a real challenge even for experienced top golfers.

The luxuriously designed golf clubhouse effectively sets the scene as a completely reconstructed baroque-style castle with the illustrious name Theresia Chateau. None other than the famous Austrian Empress Maria Theresa resided in this noble palace. There are also comfortable accommodation options here for golfers and friends of golf.

Another challenge for sporty golfers: golf in neighboring Ostrava in the Czech Republic

The renowned Park Club Golf Ostrava in the mountainous region of Moravia-Silesia in the neighboring Czech Republic also has an 18-hole golf course. It was founded back in 1968 and therefore has a long sporting tradition. Although the course is not quite as long as its equivalent near Bratislava, golfing here requires the utmost precision due to the pristine trees in the middle of the historical landscape park.
