The ‘Teeth of the Dog’ golf course at Casa de Campo Resort is one of the most renowned golf courses in the world and is considered the best in the Caribbean. Designed by internationally renowned golf course architect Pete Dye, it was opened in 1971 and measures an impressive 7,471 feet. The course is characterised by its seven holes along the Caribbean Sea, including the spectacular hole no. 8, a par 4 that stretches into the sea like a small peninsula. Particularly noteworthy is the series of par-3 holes - nos. 5, 7, 13 and 16, with hole no. 5 being the most photographed. Corales Golf Course

The Corales Golf Course, opened in 2010, is an impressive part of the Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic.
